Australia’s leading aluminium boat manufacturer is opening its doors for the first time, offering guided tours of their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

A tour of the Quintrex Factory offers the public an exclusive look at the innovative construction process of Australia’s favourite aluminium boats.

The Quintrex factory is located on a 10 acre site at the Gold Coast’s Marine Precinct and includes a small boat factory, large boat factory and packaging factory.

The free, fully guided tours offer a rare opportunity to view the complete manufacturing process including the process of plasma cutting; pressing and welding of marine grade aluminium, custom designed paint booths and the complete fit out of the boat.

Quintrex currently has a team of over 250 dedicated staff including expert welders, painters, carpenters, engine technicians and storemen all offering the highest quality of workmanship and dedication to the brand.

And with a committed research and development team Quintrex are continually setting industry standards with its innovative designs and advanced technology.

The Quintrex Factory currently produces more than 300 boat models ranging in size from 2 – 7 metres and produces up to 50 boats a day and over 12, 000 boats annually.

Stacer Director of Sales and Marketing Damien Duncan said it was the first time members of the public could jump online and book in for a tour time.

‘We have always had a lot of demand when it comes to factory tours; it is something our customers have continuously requested so we are excited to announce we now have this unique experience available.’

‘This is the first time Quintrex boat owners or people in the market for a new Quintrex can reserve their tour time and come and see the workmanship behind each boat.’ Damien said.

Tours are free of charge and bookings can be made online only, with a select number of dates available and limited spots get in quick to reserve your Quintrex Factory Tour today.
